Sundarbans Mangrove Forest – Largest Mangrove in the World

 

Location: Khulna Division, Bangladesh

History: A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Sundarbans spans over 10,000 sq km of tidal mangrove forest shared between Bangladesh and India. Home to the Royal Bengal Tiger, spotted deer, crocodiles, and exotic birds, it offers boat tours and eco-tourism.

Opening Hours:

  • Daily: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (via guided tours)

Entry Fees:

  • Locals: 70 BDT

  • Foreigners: 1000 BDT
