Sonargaon – The Ancient Capitalhronicle of Independence

 

Location: Narayanganj, Dhaka Division, Bangladesh

History: Once a historic administrative and commercial center, Sonargaon was the capital during the medieval period. It features the Folk Art Museum, Panam City with colonial buildings, and relics from Bengal’s golden age.

  • Saturday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Friday: Closed

Entry Fees:

  • Locals: 30 BDT

  • Foreigners: 100 BDT
