National Zoo – Wildlife Sanctuary in Dhaka

 

Location: Mirpur-1, Dhaka, Bangladesh

History: Opened in 1974, the Bangladesh National Zoo houses over 2,000 animals of 165 species. It's a popular destination for families and wildlife enthusiasts.

Opening Hours:

  • Daily: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Entry Fees:

  • Locals: 50 BDT

  • Foreigners: 200 BDT

Best Day to Visit: Weekdays to avoid large crowds
