Ahsan Manzil – The Pink Palace of Dhaka

 

Location: Islampur Road, Dhaka, Bangladesh

History: Built in the 19th century, Ahsan Manzil was the residence of the Nawabs of Dhaka. Now a museum, it showcases artifacts from the Nawabi era. Its pink color and Indo-Saracenic architecture make it one of Dhaka’s most photographed landmarks.

Sun–Wed: 10:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Friday: 3:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Thursday: Closed

Entry Fees:

Locals: 20 BDT

Foreigners: 300 BDT

Best Day to Visit: Friday afternoon for relaxed crowds
